Contributing Kaizens for Sharing with Indian Industry

Indian Industry’s cluster initiative is a unique phenomenon in the world. There is wide acclaim of this ‘learning process’ of sharing and learning and is working particularly well amongst SME’s (Small and Medium Enterprises) from the manufacturing industry.

Confederation of Indian Industry created this web-site of Kaizens as a service to the Industry at large as part of the commitment of our Chairman, National Committee on Quality and Training Services to the Prime Minister when he handed over a CD containing 1000 Kaizens at the National Manufacturing Council meeting in January 2006. Continuing the spirit of ‘sharing and learning’, this site shall serve as a national repository of various Kaizens collated from various manufacturing segments further segregated into productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, morale (PQCDSM) and low cost automation categories. Department-wise access is also readily available.

CII welcomes companies to contribute more Kaizens to further strengthen the online database. Click Contribute Kaizens to know more.

As this on-line resource is expected to play an important part in the manufacturing process, CII acknowledges the contributions received from the various companies, who have been a part of the cluster activities since 1998, with a view to making this learning available to the rest of the Industry.
